What is a Double Asian Handicap Bet?

Explaining the different types of bets we offer

A double Asian Handicap Bet is a bet on the game with a handicap in which the Handicap value (H) is a multiple of 0.25, but not a multiple of 0.5.

For example: H = -0.25, +0.25, -0.75, +0.75, etc.

Such a bet is interpreted as two (simple, "half") bets with the same odds and with the nearest common Handicap value (H1 = H - 0.25 and H2 = H + 0.25). The amount of each "half" bet is equal to the half of the "Double" bet amount.

This may be easier to explain via an example:

Team

Handicap

Odds

Real Madrid

-0.25 (0,-0.5)

2.0

Barcelona

+0.25 (0,+0.5)

1.8

If the "Double Asian Handicap" bet of 200BRL was placed on: Real Madrid

  • Real Madrid Win: both "halves" of the initial "double Asian handicap" bet win (0 and -0.5). Payout: (100 X 2.0 + 100 X 2.0) = 400 BRL, and the bet odds in the "Multiple bet" are equal to 400/200 = 2.0.

  • Draw: you lose one "half" of the initial "double Asian handicap" bet and other "half" bet has the result of a "return". Payout: (100 X 0.0 + 100 X 1.0) = 100 BRL, and the bet odds in the "Multiple bet" are equal to 100/200 = 0.5.

  • Barcelona Win: both "halves" of the initial "double Asian handicap" bet lose. Payout: (100 X 0.0 + 100 X 0.0) = 0 BRL, and the bet odds in the "Multiple bet" are equal to 0/200 = 0.0.

If the "Double Asian Handicap" bet of 200 BRL was placed on: Barcelona

  • Barcelona Win: both "halves" of the initial "double Asian handicap" bet win (0 and +0.5). Payout: (100 X 1.8 + 100 X 1.8) = 360BRL, and the bet odds in the "Multiple bet" are equal to 360/200 = 1.8.

  • Draw: you lose one "half" of the initial "double Asian handicap" bet and other "half" bet has the result of a "return". Payout: (100 X 1.8 + 100 X 1.0) = 280BRL, and the bet odds in the "Multiple bet" are equal to 280/200 = 1.4.

  • Real Madrid Win: both "halves" of the initial "double Asian handicap" bet lose. Payout: (100 * 0.0 + 100 * 0.0) = 0BRL, and the bet odds in the "Multiple bet" are equal to 0/200 = 0.0.
